In order to raise the awareness of members of the health sector and the general populace on urgent and relevant health issues affecting the society, the Visayas Primary Healthcare Services, Inc. maintains a facebook page and a website as well as issues public statements in the social media.
Its office in Guadalupe, Cebu City has a library that contains a wealth of training modules, reading materials, and books that can be used by interested groups and individuals.
The VPHCS also conducts advocacy work on relevant public health issues affecting the country through public forums, the mass media and other venues.
Furthermore, in its advocacy campaign to promote CBHPs, it facilitated the formation of the Tingog alang sa Mamugnaong Bag-ong Alagad sa Panglawas (TAMBAL) on Oct. 30, 2017. The coalition of CHWs from different urban and rural areas in Cebu Province has been active in reaching out to other communities to promote CBHPs.
The VPHCS has also produced several publications of its past projects.
