The VPHCS has generated resources to fund and sustain its various programs and services. Aside from international funding agencies, it has also set up local sources of income. Notable is the “Bahay Kahimsog,” in Barangay Cambanac, Municipality of Baclayon, Bohol, a two-storey concrete building built on a hill overlooking the Bohol Strait. Funded primarily by the Fil-Am Center for Community Health and Development (FACCHD) based in Pleasanton, California, U.S.A, it is a venue for trainings, seminars and conferences for community-based health programs in the communities in Cebu and Bohol and non-government organizations and government entities. It is also envisioned to be a resource center for complementary and alternative medicine including herbal medicine, acupuncture and acupressure, ventusa, and homeopathy.  
It has other small-scale income generating projects including a photocopier machine, a sound system, and PopShop selling contraceptives which are part of the sustainability program of the project funded by the Planned Parenthood Federation of America-International. These are located in its main office in Cebu City. Furthermore, a small-scale grocery is also located in the office the seed capital of which was donated by the Philippine Support Group of Minnesota, U.S.A., a supporter of CBHPs. Whatever income generated from these projects are used for the programs and services of the VPHCS.
 Regular trainings and seminars are also conducted for the staff and volunteers of the VPHCS in order to further equip them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively carry out the work of CBHP building, including health service delivery and community organizing.
