The Visayas Primary Healthcare Services, Inc. joined different development work organizations in soliciting relief goods from various non-government organizations and distributing them to families affected by Typhoon Odette in Metro Cebu and selected municipalities in southern part of Cebu.
The goods consisted of sacks of rice, canned goods of sardines and noodles, eggs, and hygiene kits.
Staff members of the VPHCS took part in apportioning the goods in the drop off centers and putting them into packs to be distributed to the families. They also joined volunteers to distribute the goods in the different communities.
