Application for accreditation as NGO in Bohol

The VPHCS has applied for accreditation as a non-government organization (NGO) with the Bohol provincial government. The application was sent to Bohol Vice-governor Atty. Dionisio D. Balite on July 25, 2018.

The VPHCS was given accreditation as an NGO under Res. No. 2011-249, no. 38 in the year 2011. The VPHCS was also represented in the Provincial Government of Bohol Civil Society Organizations (PGBh-CSO) Partnership Technical Working Group through its Bohol Coordinator, Dr. Grace Molina.

As an accredited NGO, the VPHCS can be more effective in delivering primary health care services with our partner people’s organizations in selected communities in Bohol.

After the application papers were submitted to the Vice-governor’s office, the management committee met with the Committee of Health, POs and NGOs headed by Councilor Jade Bautista on August 2018. In the meeting, Hon. Bautista made some clarifications regarding the work of VPHCS in Bohol and requested additional documents, which the VPHCS management complied with.

The VPHCS is awaiting resolution from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan for its accreditation.
