Medical mission in Trinidad, Bohol

The Visayas Primary Healthcare Services, Inc. conducted a medical mission in Sitio Panaghiusa, Barangay San Vicente, Trinidad, Bohol on February 28, 2016. More than 150 residents benefitted from the services.

The medical mission was sponsored by the Task Force Carabao – Germany, the Trinidad-Talibon-Integrated Farmers Association (TTIFA-HIMAMAT),a member of the Hugpong sa mga Mag-uuma sa Bohol (HUMABOL) or Association of Farmers in Bohol.

The services included medical consultations, tooth extraction, urinalysis, and blood screening for diabetes mellitus.

The volunteers included dentists Hope Castellano, Mark Joseph Palacio, Emmanuel Mercado, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center post graduate interns Jennylou Suringa, Carmel Grace Recoleto, and Grace Ymbong, Gullas College of Medicine medical interns Val Tantay, Precious Pepito, Sandley Sabang and Jehan Mohammad, nurse Michelle Sarabia, and nurses members of the Students Alliance for Health Services (SACHS) in Bohol.

VPHCS physicians Dr. Grace Molina and Dr. Erlinda Posadas and staff member Luz Yana led the team.
