Meeting with Alight Staff

The staff of Alight Southeast Asia met with the staff of the Visayas Primary Healthcare Services, Inc. last September 10, 2024.

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Alight Southeast Asia Executive Director Dr. Fifi Sabang, and Rachel Sismar came to the VPHCS office with Alight Philippines Liaison Coordinator Dr. Terence Emmanuel Francisco.

Alight, formerly the American Refugee Committee (ARC), is an international organization, nonprofit organization that has provided humanitarian assistance to millions of people over the last 40 years. Alight works with its partners and constituencies to provide opportunities and expertise to communities of refugees and internally displaced persons in seven countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe, and currently providing for emergency relief and recovery in other countries. Alight provides shelter, clean water and sanitation, health care, skills training, microcredit education, and protection to help survivors of war and natural disasters to rebuild their lives with dignity, health care, security, and self-sufficiency.

On September 11, 2024, the Alight staff visited Balay Kahimsog, the training center of the VPHCS in Baclayon, Bohol.


They discussed with the VPHCS staff potential future collaborations to support the programs of the VPHCS.
