On June 26, 2024, the Visayas Primary Healthcare Services served as part of the medical team in the operation circumcision organized by the Municipality of Baclayon, Bohol. The VPHCS provided 10 volunteers comprised of its staff and members of the Total Outreach for Community Health (TORCH) student organization of the Cebu Institute of Medicine. It also provided 25 sets of instruments that were used. A total of 250 boys were circumcised.
Annually, for the past 15 years, the VPHCS has collaborated with the Baclayon Municipality in conducting its yearly operation circumcision. It sends volunteers from Cebu who include staff and volunteer nurses, doctors and medical students. It also provides the circumcision instruments used.
It was in July 19, 2023 that the event was held prior to June 26, 2024.
