The Visayas Primary Healthcare Services, Inc. (VPHCS) held an orientation on the project on community-based COVID-19 response for members of the Association of Barangay Councils of Bogo City on September 3, 2020 at the audio visual room of the City Hall.
Present were 24 barangay captains or their representatives. There are 29 barangays in the municipality. Project team who facilitated the meeting included Edgar Gahisan and Crescenciana Labitad.
Ms. Labitad introduced about the project and the VPHCS. The barangay captains also introduced themselves. Ms. Labitad then gave an overview of the project activities. Mr. Gahisan followed with the planning of the BHERTs training and the barangays to be trained by the VPHCS. The VPHCS will train BHERTs from 19 barangays with seven participants from each barangay.
The VPHCS trainings will be held on September 21 – 22, 2020 with one batch, and September 24 – 25 with two batches, for a total of 133 participants.
